Many of the reports include view counts for content. Unlike other web analytics solutions, Community does not use Javascript to log when a view occurs. Instead, it logs views only when specific widgets are actually loaded onto a page.
The out-of-the-box view count widgets are:
- Blog - Post List in Detail view only (where blog posts are shown in their entirety in the list)
- Blog - Post Content
- Event Calendar - Event
- Forum - Thread
- Ideas - Idea
- Media Gallery - File
- Wiki - Page
- Knowledge Management - Document
Community captures both anonymous and logged in views, which you can filter to each (or any custom combination of roles) separately via role scoping, if desired.
