In Verint Community 11.0, we’ve upgraded our internal usage of Solr from 6.2 to 7.6. For more information on what has changed, check Lucene's documentation:

The most noticeable additional feature in relation to Community is the usage of Synonyms, which is explained in detail on its own page.
Configuration Changes
This upgrade comes with updates to solr schema and configuration files for both Telligent search cores. If you’ve modified these files, you’ll need to diff and merge your changes with the updates to the out-of-the-box versions.
