The Default Presentation Control Panel setting specifies site-wide presentation options for all community blogs.
To set the blog presentation properties:
- Mouse over Management.
- Click Administration. The Administration panel appears.
- Navigate to Applications > Applications.
- Click Blog application and content type. The Blog application and content type tabs appear.
- Click Default presentation. The Default presentation settings appear.
- Enable Themes - If enabled, Allows users who own blogs on your website to select a blog theme from the available themes on the site.
- Enable Theme Configuration - If enabled, blog owners can customize their blog theme if customizable options are available for the selected theme.
- Default Theme - Default theme applied to the blog when a new blog is created.
- Aggregate RSS Post Count - Maximum number of blog posts returned on the blog aggregate page and community aggregate RSS feed.
- Individual Blog RSS Post Count - Maximum number of blog posts allowed on the RSS or Atom feed.
- Use Post Summary - If enabled, displays an excerpt of each blog post rather than the full blog post within RSS feeds, activity stream, email, and blog post lists. (Blog authors can override in blog post settings.)
- Post Summary Length - Number of summary characters from each post to display in RSS feeds that render excepts. (Defaults to 25)
