missing emoji tags in the html from REST response

Question

Hi, 
 
 The following REST endpoints are returning empty spaces where we have emojis in the body of the content. 
 / api.ashx/v2/content.json 
 / api.ashx/v2/search.json 
 / api.ashx/v2/stories.json 
 
 Can you please suggest us the api which will return emojis as well? 
 
 Note: Its showing with img tag from web.

When rendering for the REST API, content is rendered with the "WebServices" post target by default. Some APIs support specifying the render target to allow for "Web" or other render targets, however, search and stories do not support that currently. The content endpoint does allow specifying the post target, however:
