The IP Address Tracking page contains settings for tracking the IP addresses of users who post content to your site. This feature is useful when you want to track down user(s) who post offensive content, or you have cause to ban a user.
To track IP addresses:
- Click Pencil Icon > Administration > Moderation > IP Tracking.
- Set the IP Address Tracking options:
- Enable Tracking of Poster IP Address - If enabled, stores the IP address of users who post on the site.
- Display Poster IP Address only to Administrators & Moderators - If enabled, displays the IP address of posting users to administrators and moderators.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
