Is there any documentation on sitemaps?

There aren't currently any configuration options that control the site map or index. The implementation of the index will retrieve the most recently updated 100 applications/groups of each type and direct to an appropriate site map which retrieves content by created or last updated date.

That is good to know. We found a large number of our content is not indexed by Google. Only 20% of our forum threads and maybe 1% of our public videos are indexed. Same goes for our WIki pages. We are looking for ways to increase our exposure on Google and idenfitiyed lack of Sitemap coverage as an issue.

Due to the platform limitations of only outputting 100 most recently updated application/groups of each type, we end up running a report to gather the full set of data in a custom sitemap broken down by content types, e.g.

Some (like forum threads) reach the Google limit of 50,000 URLs per file, so we split them.

Having to do this isn't ideal (I'd rather the platform did it, since figuring out the URLs to output & what content is public is difficult), but needs must.
