We'd like to customise the main site search to exclude results from a particular group (or groups) since there's no config option in the widget to do this.
It looks like you can only include/exclude groups using the Filters parameter with $core_v2_searchResult.list, but we need to use Query to search for what the user typed in & you can only use one or the other. Or is there another parameter/option to allow us to do this?
The other alternative might be to de-prioritise results from that group, which has been mentioned here before. We host the site ourselves, so we can make the changes; have you got any documentation on how to achieve that?
