Hi Stephen, I have just tried this on another environment and after replying to a thread it only subscribed me automatically but it didn't add me to "I have this question too". I also don't see any option to auto-add users to that feature. So looks like a bug.
For the record, after replying to this thread; I'm not added to "I have this question too"
This may point to a hidden automation. Did you do a lot of automations? Never heard about this with other implementations I have seen and done.
This is by design, when a thread is verified by a user other than an author they are given a "I have this..." vote automatically. Its not based on reply.
Hi Patrick - I'm not sure I understand this response. I have replied to posts many times and verified the reply and this has never happened to me. Can you please clarify? Thank you. Geneva
When a user, who is not the thread author, verifies a reply as an answer they will be added to the I have this Question too votes. You can see it here, I verified my reply above and now I am part of that list in the upper right
I find this confusing and sends the wrong message, as a moderator/admin of a forum, I want to mark a reply as a verified answer, but that doesn't mean that I have that question too at all.
I can understand automatically 'upvoting' the reply because that adds it to the 'best answers', but it falsifies responses by adding a moderator or admin to 'I have this question too' when I do not.
Agree
I also agree, it is very confusing.
