Strange issue with certain media gallery applications not triggering download of pdf files

The /download link is valid and expected -- this would show the download disclaimer (if one is defined) and then link to the actual file to be downloaded. 

Hi Ben Tiedt , yes and in other groups on the same site the file is downloaded as expected but in one particular group, the users can see the content, click on the download button, but rather than triggering the download it just changes the url in the browser to include the /download suffix 

Do you have any ideas why this would be happening in a single group ? 

is the request issued for the /download URL? 

Is the download disclaimer enabled in Manage Media Gallery > File Options > Enable Download Disclaimer only in the affected group?

Hi Ben, The download disclaimer is disabled in all the site galleries 

In other groups the functionality is fine, but in one specific group it doesn't, no download is triggered and the page reloads 

looking at the network log the /download is triggering but its just reloading the media page itself
