We had a number of issues upgrading to version 12, and there're even more changes between versions of version 12.
I would suggest to search this site for some conversations which also mention how they've been acted on or maybe even resolved.
And I would ask Verint directly for a 'known issues' log for version 12, and a log of detailed changes between the versions.
I appreciate this isn't necessarily a direct answer, but there were a lot of issues that we run into which were a mixture of incompatible data types, performance problems with extensions, and issues with embedded media types - and I cannot say with certainty if these were entirely because of the platform upgrade, because of the type of platform we're on (we're on Microsoft Azure) or other factors. However I know there are enough 'gotchas' that have been reported that Verint should be aware of a good list of them to advise.
