The forum thread list widget supports filtering listed threads to only ones identified as popular. The criteria for identifying popular threads is defined in Administration > Applications > Forums on the Popular Posts tab:
Here you can adjust:
- Popular Post Replies: the number of replies required for a thread to be considered popular.
- Popular Posts Views: the number of views required for a thread to be considered popular. This number is a total of views for the thread starter and all of its replies.
- Popular Posts Age: specify the number of days the post must be active within to be considered popular.
When you've adjusted the settings to meet the level of engagement and activity of your community, click Save.
