Advertisement embed code and presentation can be managed within the community.
Enabling Ads
To enable ads, go to Manage > Administration > Site > Ads and ensure that Enable Ads is checked. If not, check it and click Save.
Defining Ads
To define ads, edit pages within the community and place the Advertisement and/or Advertisement (Regional) widgets on pages. The Advertisement widget is suitable for single-use ads whereas the Advertisement (Regional) widget enables easy re-use of advertisement embed codes against a preset list of advertisement regions. When placing widgets onto pages, be sure to provide the advertisement embed code to the advertisement widget via configuration.
Controlling Who Can See Ads
Any member who has the Hide Ads permission will not be shown advertisements. By default, members of the Administrators role will not be shown advertisements. You can edit other roles to adjust which members will be shown advertisements.
