disabling auto-save in private messaging

This's referred to as "localStorage" and is a client-side/browser managed functionality. To clear it may require custom JavaScript (https://blog.logrocket.com/localstorage-javascript-complete-guide/) and permissions from the user to allow you to do it.

To have this enacted on the site would likely require a custom widget or extension for those pages where you want it to happen, or for Verint to change the out of the box widgets to support that functionality.

While this is posted in Verint Community 11.x, this behaviour persists into v12.

Note that, as Christopher G. Stanton mentions, the auto-saved data is stored in the user's browser using local storage and not on the website.  This store is cleared when committed and only uncommitted content from the last 5 editing contexts is stored for restoration.
