Howdy  - Great Question! The "Last Period" represents the same length of time immmediately preceeding the time period defined for your report. So, for your example it would be the 30-days prior to April 1, March 2 - 31.

Awesome, thanks Tom Paolucci ! So...if I put in a custom range of, say, 47 days, would the same rule apply? The system would magically calculate 47 days and use that as "Last Period"? Or does this rule apply only with the OOTB ranges?

The system would use its magical calculating powers to determine the appropriate "Last Period"....   8^)
