Is it possible to publish blog posts from Microsoft Word?

I am working on a draft blog post in Microsoft Word and noticed the Blog Post > Manage Accounts functionality. I tried adding the community Blog Post URL with no success and I was curious if we could publish to one of the system blogs directly from Word. Has anyone tried to do this? Is it possible to publish blog posts from Word to the community blog?

The Telligent Community is listed a provider on this help document. It may be an older version or something else so I thought I would ask!

We have documentation on how to use Open Live Writer to publish blogs to Community, this might fulfill your requirement.

It also appears that the direct publish functionality you mention should work as well, if the correct parameters are provided. The url should include the "/metablog.ashx" at the end for proper routing.

I should note that both of these methods were initially designed for older versions and *should* still work, but may encounter unforeseen issues.
