Automatically Include Signature in Response

Hi Sarah - You can add your signature in your settings that will display when someone hovers over your avatar associated with the post.  We do not put it as part of the post because signatures can get dated or become stale.  

Darn.  I was hoping that there was a way to include it in the post. Thanks

The signature can be displayed in posts, but it will require modifying the widgets that display the posts for each type of content where you want the signature displayed.

Hi Mathew D'Amico I've just been reading this one through as we'd like signatures to be displayed underneath posts on our Community. When you say it'll require modding the widgets, could you let me know how to go about this? Would be really grateful!

Thanks Brian Dooley - that's great. We use custom widgets for our forum threads, and I'm looking in the widget studio to see where we could/would mod the widget to display signatures. Do you have any further guidance on how to do this?

This is a make-or-break deal for me.  I'm the most prolific contributor in the Sophos Community where your product is the new engine.  I justify my participation by labeling it "marketing time."  If my signature is not visible by default when people read my contributions, there's no reason for other consultants and resellers like me to continue to contribute.  By the same token, folks not being able to automatically see who's a Sophos employee leads to misunderstandings.
