Where can I find a list of group IDs in my community?

1.You can get the group conatiner id (GUID) from reporting > Group > Group summaries  > Export data as csv .

2.or if you the group ids (int ) , need to write a script using this api to get all the groupids

Thank you for trying to help me. The Groups summary report lists a long string of characters which is the container identifier. I am trying to locate the Identifier which is often 2-3 characters in length found under group options. Do you happen to know where I can find this number? See below image.

There is no straight forward way to achieve  this .

You need to run this code to get group id and name

you can run this from Administration > Interface > widget studio > script sandbox

This was very helpful as I had the same issue, thank you!  I have a similar inquiry regarding how to find users who have a specific group membership but do not have a specified role assigned.  My gut is telling me that a similar script could be leveraged to identify users this pertains to but I'm not experienced enough with the api yet to generate it.  Would you be willing to provide a script that performs this type of analysis also?

You can combine the Group User Members Script API to list members for a group, and Role Users Script API to check if each user is in a role.
