Forum - Ask a Question Widget isn't appearing on a Forum page

I am really new to Verint, so will be asking a lot of very basic questions. Looking forward to paying it forward someday! I have put a Forum - Ask a Question widget on a Forum landing page but when I save the page to publish it, the Ask a Question widget doesn't appear. How do I get it to appear? 
 Also - I want to put that widget on the landing page of the group, but it doesn't appear in the list. Why is that?

I figured this out -- I don't have questions turned on, so the widget won't appear. I wonder if there is a way to get a Start a Discussion widget to appear instead.

The ask a question widget is written to support only a single forum and is limited to be placed on a forum page. As it is currently written, if it were placed on a group page it would have no way to determine what forum it was supposed to be acting against. 
 It most likely would not be too difficult to modify it to support being placed on a group page and requiring you to configure the forum it is working with.
