Upgrading from v. 12 to 13

Hello,

I'm in the middle of upgrading from Verint Community 12 to 13, and while most of the migration has gone smoothly, I'm now seeing unexpected behavior in custom email templates—some dynamic content isn't rendering correctly post-upgrade. Has anyone experienced similar issues with email handling in v13? More broadly, are there other upgrade surprises or compatibility pitfalls I should watch out for?

    As Satish said, emails are now managed in Email Studio.

    When you performed the upgrade, there should have been confirmation in the System Notifications that your Emails were migrated automatically

    • If you didn't accept those changes, the functionality will resemble your V12 emails. And in Email Studio, the emails will appear as CUSTOMIZED DEFAULT
    • If you did accept those changes, the functionality for V13 will be in place, but you may have lost your customizations. In Email Studio they will appear as Default (not customized)

    Did you test this in a Dev / Staging environment? I would say that is a necessary step.
