SEO Meta Data for Content Pages : Configuration

Purpose

Provides SEO Meta Data For Custom Content Pages.

Where it works

This widget is designed for use on Custom Content Pages.

Configuration

Place and configure the widget in Edit page mode

1. Click Pencil Icon >  Manage [Site/Group] Theme > Edit this Page
2. Select and place the SEO Meta Data for Content Pages widget on the page
3. Click on  in the widget menu bar. The configuration dialog appears.
4. You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
5. Page Title - Enter text to be used in the title tag of this page. If not specified the page name will be used.
6. Meta Keywords - Enter a comma separated list of keywords that will be placed in the keywords meta tag.
7. Meta Description - Describe the page's content and this will be placed in the description meta tag.
8. Canonical Url - If specified this will override the default URL used in the canonical link tag. By default the canonical URL is the page's current base URL.
9. Click Save in the configuration dialog.
10. Click Publish when complete.
