Wikis - Browse Wikis : Configuration

Description

Purpose

Displays a browse control to view all wikis on the site.

Limitation

This widget requires search to be installed in order to use the search option.

Where it works

This widget works on the group home page, wiki home page, or wiki post pages.

Configuration

Place and configure the widget

1. Click Pencil Icon >  Manage [Site/Group] Theme > Edit this Page
2. Select and place the Wikis - Browse Wikis widget on the page
3. Click on  in the widget menu bar. The configuration dialog appears.
4. You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
5. Show Wiki Name - When checked, the list displays wiki titles.
6. Show Wiki Group Name - When checked, the list displays the wiki groups.
7. Show Post Count - When checked, the list displays post titles.
8. Show Last Update - When checked, the list displays the date of the last update.
9. Filter to Group - Select a group to scope the widget. Default = Current Group
10. Show data from Group and all Subgroups - When checked, the list includes subgroup posts in addition to group posts.
11. Number of results to display - The number of wiki items to be displayed. Default = 5
12. Include current group's name in Title (Title must be a formatted string with a {0} placeholder  - When checked, the list displays the name of the current group.
13. Click Save to exit the configuration dialog.
14. Click Publish when complete.
