Is it possible to allow members to post pictures/videos in the forum discussions?

Hi sarcher  do you mean uploading/embedding pictures and videos? Both of these are possible in the forum although it may depend on the settings you have. For example, you can copy and paste an image directly into a forum post, or go to 'insert' and either add an image/video/file or use the external content to embed content.

Is that what you meant?

 Justin Lee sarcher check your forum permissions settings. It may have something to do with the permission to allow users to upload files etc. If that's disabled, you may not see the option. 

It could also be that the editor was stripped of that function. Depends on how customized it is.

• Admin > Moderation > Filtering > "Files and URL Embedding"
• Admin > Applications > Content > Forum Threads > "Filtering" > "Files and URL Embedding"
• Admin > Applications > Content > Forum Replies > "Filtering" > "Files and URL Embedding"
• and other applications using the same path ^ 

I'm also curious sarcher, what happens if you just copy an image and try pasting it into the editor? Does the image show and then get removed when it's posted/published, or does the image not even paste at all?
