Rename tag globally

Is there a way to rename a tag globally? Or an easier way than having to go into each application in a group?

I tried to update at a group level and it does not like it.

As far as I know, you can not do it globally out of the box, you would have to do it at each application level.

I believe this is something my team has accomplished in the past by running a script to look through the whole community - so could possibly be done with a script
