I've just experienced a really infuriating issue and are wondering if anyone else has seen the same behaviour?
We have a blog in our community called Community Insights that is open for anyone in a specific role to post to but all posts are reviewed by the admin team before we publish them on the community.
The other day one of our volunteers posted a blog which I denied it (but allowed a revision) . He then revised it and re submitted it this morning. He still hadn't included an image so I edited it in the moderation queue and added one for him. While I was there I also amended the publish date to today as it was showing as the 12 August (his original created date) . Then clicked on save.
When I then clicked on the approve button, I received one of the orange error boxes that said I didn't have permission to edit the post. The screen refreshed and the post content has now reverted back to the original version (now showing me as the author) and not the revised version!
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......................!
What happened there? Is there any way of getting the revised version back? Has anyone else had this issue? Is this a bug or 'intended behaviour' in some random logic way?
