We are getting requests to change how out date/time displays in Japanese and Chinese. Is there anyway to change date format per locale without going into every widget that displays a date?

I thought the date format was determined by the community member themselves in their own personal settings area? There's plenty of options there to cater for all personal preferences.

There's already the Year Month Day format available which I believe is the preferred format in China and Japan etc
