"Scheduling non-durable file execution with progress key schedule-widgets" error

I'm working on testing my upgrade to 12.1.4 in my staging site. Things have mostly been going well so far, but I've been trying to import some new widgets and/or updates to existing ones, but the import never completes. The same thing happens on the Widget Replacement Process:

In Admin > Monitoring > Events I am getting these errors, but no further details:

  • Scheduling non-durable file execution with progress key schedule-widgets:##{my user ID]## by user anassi.
  • Scheduling non-durable file execution with progress key replace-widgets:##{my user ID]## by user anassi.

I also see my scheduled jobs have not been processed in 2 days and also have repeats of a job I haven't seen before, "'callback-import-fragments-task.jsm' from 'Widget Studio' widget":

I assume this all boils down to my Job Server not running, but I don't remember if that's new or not, so I'm not positive:

I have a case with Verint Support that I opened earlier today, but I was hoping others may have seen this before and have some suggestions if there's anything I can do from my end (hosted). Otherwise, I'll follow up when I hear back from Support in case others run into this in the future.

  • To me, that looks like the Widget Studio is using a scheduled job to do some of the import tasks. If it's not running, I could see that failing.

We've had upgrade failures similar to this when there were OOB applications disabled during upgrade (we don't use Articles, Calendars, Wikis, etc so they are turned off at the application level). It's always a forehead slap to remember to turn those back on prior to upgrade...

  • Thanks  I checked the different applications and they're all enabled (except for "Knowledge Collections since we don't have a KM license). I also tried disabling Redis and enabling Database Message Bus, hoping that would clear the job, but no luck Disappointed I'm guessing that the support team just needs to enable my job server on my staging site.
