We have a bit of an issue in using our featured content slider.
We have it configured to display the recent blog posts from one of our blogs but I've noticed that the order in which they display is dependant on the date/time they were created as opposed to the date/time they are published.
We use the review process for this particular blog so that posts have to be approved by the mod team. However, sometimes a post will need to be edited before we're happy to publish which may mean that a later written post is published before. When the post needing edited is then published it doesn't appear in first position even though it's been 'published' after then later one.
Is there something we can do to change this so that they do order themselves in published date order rather than created date?
