Has anyone else's notifications disappeared from this community?

I noticed this on our own community after being out for a week - many test accounts had their notifications wiped clean.  We're still very new to Verint/Telligent so wasn't sure what the default behavior or expiration might be, but it was odd.

Glad it's not just me dcole but a bit worrying - unless it's expected behaviour...? What version are you on? I've not noticed it on our community (v12.1.2.21912), just on here.

Hi Both - The Notification List widget will show notifications for the last 10 days - (+) Notification List : Configuration - User Documentation - Verint Community 12.x - Verint | Telligent Community - this looks to be editable in the widget itself. Before you do that (if you choose to), I will ask one of our developers to confirm of any potential performance impacts and why 10 is the default.

Not sure that explains why things would be "missing" for you both here, as I see all the notifications I would expect. I'll do some digging around on this too.

Thanks Grant Pankonien - we have users who may not return for several weeks/months, so we'd prefer a much longer expiration window provided that doesn't cause any other impact.

(To clarify this was only on our own community - I can't say that I observed it here on the verint community - but I wasn't looking either)

It's been the case for the past (almost two years) I've been on the site that it only shows the last 10 days. I have a list of notifications now at least. We have a problem on the element14 Community that notifications are simply not working for some of our groups, and others are fine.

Where? Do you mean in the widget source code?

That’s correct. In Widget Studio. Not at my desk at the moment, but can provide more direction if needed when I return. 

It is not just a widget configuration, notifications expire at configurable intervals via the Notification Expiration job where they are physically removed

I've had a look at the widget source code and it doesn't look obvious to me, but we haven't got the issue in our community (yet...) it was something I had problems with on here.
