how to turn off private messaging? there is a vulnerability

Grant Pankonien  do you guys have any documentation to turn off the feature while support investigates and finds a permanent solution?

Speaking specifically to turning off PMs I am asking that now JorgeC. - I believe it could be updated via a script to move all user's settings to allow no private messages, but thats not an admin button to just click. I also think you would want to make sure you have users current settings before you switch them to no one. More to come on this topic in general.

Administration > Membership > Membership Options > Enable Conversations can be disabled. This will affect all users without modifying any individual users settings.
