Leaderboards can track activity within a group or site wide. They are not able to be targeted to a specific application unless that were the only item within the group.
Thanks for the reply! So, if I wish to track a leaderboard for a wiki or article, I need to create one inside a group? Did I understand you correctly?
If the wiki or article collection is the only application in the group, then the leaderboard for that group would only include activity within that application. If there is anything else within that group then members points would be based on all activity within the group, not just the wiki or article collection.
