How are others denoting required fields in the community such as the User Registration page?

In previous versions, we exploited a bug in the system that allowed us to put HTML code in the field name. For example, we would have fiedls that looked like this:

Full Name (*Required)

We can no longer do this since we have upgraded to 12. When you set a field as Required, the system doesn't automatically do anything that denotes the field as required. I'm curious if anybody has found any way to denote this? The industry standard for web pages seems to be a red asterisk.

    This is a great question, we have found one workaround which is modifying that "User Registration" Page - you can get to it by: 

    1. On your community homepage hover over the pencil icon

    2. Click manage group theme

    3. Click manage pages

    4. Search or Scroll until you find "User Registration" 

    Once you are on that page you could add an additional widget with explanations as to what is required (you could use the generic content widget for example or whatever you feel fits best)
