Invite feature with SSO?

Is it possible to use the built-in Invite widget with an SSO? I see that SSO is mentioned in the Doc's, however I am not getting the user to land on the registration page so I am unsure if I need to make any adjustments to my configuration.

Just updating this, i got it to work for the most part, however i am having issues with the return URL on our SSO Provider. As a fix I was thinking of using a Cookie named Invitation, however I am having issues generating cookies. They are not saving, is this syntax correct?

$core_v2_page.SetCookieValue('InvitationKey', $userInvitation.InvitationKey)
