Notifications for article feedback?

If a reader submits feedback (not comments) for an article, is a notification triggered to either the author or a group owner/manager if its in a group to let them know that feedback has been left for the article?

At the moment the only way I can see that feedback has been left is to go to the article and view it from there. With potentially hundreds if not thousands of articles being written on our community, it would be great if at least the author received a notification when feedback is submitted rather than them having to keep checking just in case.

Is this possible i.e. do we have to enable something (or a combination of somethings) in order for it to happen?

Article feedback notifcations have been added in the 12.1 release.  The out of the box notifications are only sent for actionable feedback (you won't receive messages for when an article marked as helpful since there is no action to be taken based on that feedback).  Article authors will receive the notifications, as well as any additional users or roles that can be defined in each Article Collection.
