I have sometimes wondered if our reporting is accurate (although it hasn't completely flatlined) and I reset the reporting a few months ago, and it did change the reports (content views, etc.). Is there a particular indication of when this should be done again, even if the analytics haven't completely flatlined, to ensure accurate reporting? If I'm on a forum, visit a thread, go back to the forum list and don't see views advance (even if others are looking at that thread as well but it still shows zero views), is this an indication something is not being tracked?
Removed video as I noticed it revealed a user name.
