Is there a way to search for text within messages?

Question

When you're in your messaging area having a chat with someone, and you want to refer to something you said maybe some weeks ago, is there a way to search within the conversation? I've tried Ctrl + F and it brings up this window: 
 
 But gives no results on words which I know are in the conversation: 
 
 Do I need to configure something?

Howdy Liz Morgan - You can use the standard search in the header. Search automatically returns results for the context where it's being used. For example, while searching in a specific group, the header will show "Search in ". If searching in a group's application, it will say "Search in 's ." Other filters or parameters can then be applied as needed.

Hi Liz Morgan 
 A shortcut that I have noticed works is searching the term in the top search bar while in the conversation with a specific user.
