Can you @ mention a group in a Generic Content widget?

Question

I like the flyout with preview available in this version if you @ mention a group. We're designing a page that indexes a number of groups and would love to @ mention the group rather than just linking the group name, but the @ mention doesn't seem to be working in the widget. Is this user error or is this feature not available in the generic content widget?

Howdy Sherri Vance - I've just done a few tests and it is not possible to use the @ mention functionality when configuring the Generic Content widget. That said, I was able to copy and paste content created on the site with a working @ mention into the configuration of the widget and that worked.
