Friendship Reporting

There's not a direct way to total friendship actions - the Participation report aggregates similar activities that constitute "engagement" on the site, which includes friendship requests.

You can get a record of friendship activity by going to Administration > Monitoring > Auditing and filtering the "containing" field by "Friendship". This will give you a list of actions relating to Friendships on the site. The most likely sequence you will see is 'A created Friendship "A and B"', and later a matching message 'B edited Friendship "A and B"'. The first message indicates the Friendship was initiated by a request from A. The second message (which, when clicked in the Auditing Panel, will show details of what changed) indicates that B accepted (or rejected) the request, thus editing the Friendship from the Pending state to the Approved or Rejected state.

These records can also be exported and manipulated as required to produce the numbers you need.
