Thanks for the report. This is a known issue that has been logged and fixed along with some other related issues for an upcoming version.

Hi Steven, is there a reason why this wasn't added to the point releases as we have a site running 12.0.3.17950 and the client has reported the same issue
we have an ETA for 12.1 as they are seeing content exposed site wide which they expect to be hidden

We review all reported bugs and determine how and when we will address them based on the criticality/severity of the issue.    If there is a bug that is something you wish to be included in a service release, I suggest logging a support ticket and inquiring through that channel.   It will be re-assessed at that point.

This does not however guarantee we will include it in a service release, it will just prompt it to be evaluated again.

As for timing of the 12.1 release, we do not communicate release dates ahead of time.   It is something we hope to have out soon, but there is no public date..
