Hi Eugene Shulga (SE) - this is a bit outside of my scope of knowledge, but can you share a link to what you are seeing? You can private message me here. Thank you!
Hi Grant, I think you get my question wrong
I don't mean that I have any technical issues to do this, its more kind of legal question - is it allowed to publish Verint binaries in public repositories
So I am not a lawyer..nor do I represent one or a member of a legal team at Verint. As a developer, the rule of thumb with any software is if you are not sure, don't. Especially if its not open source software where a license explicitly grants you permission to distribute it.
Also, again with same disclaimers, the end-user license agreement does not allow for distribution
www.telligent.com/.../
Okay, from end-user license its pretty clear that not permitted distributions are not allowed
>> "distribution of Telligent software without permission from Telligent"
Thus comes two question:
- Does your tech team have any plans to maintaining a docker image for Verint community
- Or is it possible to get your permission to become a maintainer of Verint community image on Docker Hub
Great questions!
- We currently do not have plans to maintain a docker image for our product.
- We cannot grant this permission at this time. This would need to be an internal business discussion and would require legal approval. We will come back to you should this decision to be made. Thank you!
