User Profile Fields : Configuration

Description

Purpose

Displays a group of user profile fields.

Limitation

You can only select one profile field per instance of this widget.

Where it works

This widget works on the User Profile tab.

Configuration

Place and configure the widget

1. Go to a member Profile Page
2. Click Pencil Icon >  Manage Site Theme > Edit this Page
3. The User Profile Fields widget is already on the page.
4. You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
5. View - Choose one of the following
   • Selected profile field groups
   • Selected profile fields
6. Profile Field Group - Select and organize the Groups to display:
   
   • About
     
   • Basic Information
   • Contact
   • Interests
   • Basic Information
7. Show Profile Information For - Select which user to display profile data for:
   • Contextual User - The user profile you are in.
   • Accessing User - Logged-in user.
     
8. Read Only - When checked the user be unable to edit their profile information.
9. Click Save to exit the configuration dialog.
10. Click Publish when complete.
