Description
Purpose
Displays the download agreement with Accept / Decline buttons prior to clicking on Download.
Limitations
IMPORTANT: The Enable Download Disclaimer property MUST be enabled prior to adding this widget to a file page: Pencil Icon > Manage Gallery > File Options > Check Enable Download Disclaimer
If you place the widget on the file page but have not enabled the disclaimer, clicking on a file icon from the Gallery will immediately download that file without going to the file page. The file page will not be accessible until the Enable Download Disclaimer has been checked.
Where it works
This widget only works on the individual file pages of a Media Gallery.
Configuration
Place and configure the widget
- Click Pencil Icon > Manage [Site/Group] Theme > Edit this Page
- Before selecting and placing the Media Gallery - Download File widget on the page see IMPORTANT above.
- Once added to the page click on
in the widget menu bar. The configuration dialog appears. - You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
- Click Save to exit the configuration dialog.
- Click Publish when complete.
