Forums - Create/Edit Post : Configuration

Description

Purpose

Creates or edits a forum post.

Limitations

You must have the Forum - Create New Threads permission to see this widget.

Where it works

This widget works on forum pages and forum post pages.

Configuration

Place and configure the widget

1. Click Pencil Icon >  Manage [Site/Group] Theme > Edit this Page
2. Select and place the Forums - Create/Edit Post widget on the page
3. Click on  in the widget menu bar. The configuration dialog appears.
4. You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
5. Display forum link in title - If selected, the forum title is displayed as an active link.
6. Suggested Content - Content matching the question found in other content of the types checked will be presented with forum-related suggestions.

7. Load Suggested Content From - Select groups from which to load suggested content. If no groups are selected, content across the entire community could be suggested.
8. Click Save to exit the configuration dialog.
9. Click Publish when complete
