Forum - Thread : Configuration

Description

Purpose

Displays the contents of a forum thread.

Where it works

This widget works on forum post pages.

Configuration

Place and configure the widget

1. Click Pencil Icon >  Manage [Site/Group] Theme > Edit this Page
2. Select and place the Forum - Thread widget on the page
3. Click on  in the widget menu bar. The configuration dialog appears.
4. You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
5. Thread Depth - Visible threading depth, beyond which replies are flattened. Flat forums disable endless paging.

6. Page Size - Define the number of replies to load at a time. (default = 10)
7. Include footer reply - Select this option if you want to Include a second thread starter reply form in the footer.
8. Show likes for thread starters - Select this option if likes be displayed for the thread starters.
9. Enable Full Editor - Select this option to enables a link to use the full editor.
10. New Highlight Duration - Define the number of seconds to highlight new replies.
11. Include Best - Select Include to display a summary of top-voted replies.

12. Best Replies to Display - Define the number of top-voted replies to display.
13. Click Save Page.
14. Click Publish when complete.
