Hi everyone, In our community, we do not want to make it possible for users to edit the source code when they create a forum post, reply and/or edit their profile. It is in Tools > source code. I already saw some options to change the editor on: Admin > Site > Editor Options Admin > Moderation > Filtering But can not find a way to disable / delete this option in the editor/text field. Although I would like to disable this per section/group/forum, it is also fine if I can only disable this site-wide. Any advice on how to do this?

How do I disable the 'source code' in the editor in profile/forum?

Hi everyone,

In our community, we do not want to make it possible for users to edit the source code when they create a forum post, reply and/or edit their profile.

It is in Tools > source code.

Irene van der Zanden -- Is it possible to remove the 'source code' option in TinyMCE? it's not possible (at least in any out-of-the-box way). I'm curious why this is an issue as I find it to be an option that most people don't notice or need access to, but is useful for anyone who runs into problems with their content (for instance, if they paste something from another application that carried over hidden style code that can basically be only removed via the source code).
