This is unfortunately not a supported query at this time. Events can be queried by registrants, but not by their creator. I am logging this for review.
Any progress on this (or the result of the review).. it's been over 2 years and this isn't possible in v12, and looking at the v13 docs, it isn't in there either. You'd have thought it'd be a good thing to be able to return, i.e. a list of events a particular user has created.
