This is unfortunately not a supported query at this time. Events can be queried by registrants, but not by their creator. I am logging this for review.
I've raised an Idea to cover this enhancement request;
Improve the calendar_v1_events.List API to allow filtering by author/creator
Voted...good point! Very annoying. Also when you want to build native apps.
