Community Reporting - How does trending cards work?

Question

Hello, What is the logic behind trends? Per definition, trending card represents - The percent of changes from the previous period specified for each type of Participation. 
 If you see the numbers for the "content created" report, even though number looks better for the last week, it still shows -22.6% from the earlier week. 
 Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy cdns123 - Thank You for bringing this discrepancy to our attention. A few of us tried to recreate the behavior you were seeing and after several tries we did get some results that seemed questionable. One of our testers is on our Product Team and has agreed to post this as a bug. As any additional information becomes available I will post it here.
