Blog post list widget

This is not just limited to a specific group but its happening sitewide . We are on 11.1.10.18802

Could you share a screenshot of the configuration of the blog post list widget?

I'm having trouble reproducing this issue.

What is the context of the issue (is it within a group, an individual blog, or the entire site? if it's a group, does the group have multiple blogs? is the affected user authenticated?)

Is there anything else that you could share that may be unique that may contribute to this issue?

The issue was sitewide.

When a user creates a blog post anywhere throughout the site in any group(s), once the post was created the user is redirected to the post.

This shows us the blog post was created. But this post won't appear in the blogpost list immediately, but it definitely takes more than an hour to appear on the list. But on the activity stream, it does immediately.

For testing i had setup a group and added a new blog post , and tried to retrieve the total count using the blogpost Script Api , But it returned 0 .

In 11.x, the cache of blogs post lists not scoped to a single blog was not immediately expired. This could cause the behavior you are seeing.

This was updated/changed in 12.x+
