On the options tab of a blog post you can add a Post Image. Here's an example of it's use on a blog post in our community:
When the blog is listed using the Blog Post - List widget, the image is cropped or scaled and gets cut off. Here's the same image as presented by Blog Post - List:
As you can see, it's cropped. Using the browser's inspect function, it appears to scale to 175 x 113.
So my question is, what is the ideal dimensions for an image for a blog post? We'd like to be able to know the image we add to the options of a blog post isn't going to get cropped as we sometimes have text on images that we need to be displayed.
