We're currently evaluating the possibility of migrating the front end interface from which our users download our installation packages to the community. There are several options available for each release as various languages and application bundles are available for the users to choose from, they can select a full installation vs a client only package for example. The files themselves are hosted in an Sharepoint repository which isn't changing so these files will not be hosted directly. What I'd like to do is generate a URL based on selections made by the users to specify package is needed. Has anyone else had a similar need and how did you solve it?
